their journey

From Burlington, Vermont to East Machias, Maine stretches just over 400 miles of wilderness, cut through by the ever-elusive Route 2. Tristan plans to unicycle 40 to 50 miles a day, completing his quest in 8 to 10 days. However, he knows there may be delays along the way due to weather, cramping, flat tires, bears, or the odd mountain climb. Accompanied by his brother, the pack horse, the two plan to make this journey completely green by equipping Arian with a tandem bicycle that will be used to carry most of the supplies. They plan to carry the necessary food and water needed for the day, and purchase any needs along the way. Powered by an iron will to succeed as well as plenty of training, Tristan plans to make this the trip of a lifetime, to save lives.
